Painting workshop Den Bosch
Painting workshop in Den Bosch: you are a better painter than you think
Atelier Vivalo is a painting workshop in Den Bosch where you paint your own portrait completely in the dark, guided by a beamer projection. You need no experience: the workshop is built around one idea, that anyone can paint.
Looking for a creative workshop in Den Bosch for a company outing, a bachelor or bachelorette party, a gift, or an afternoon with friends and family? Individuals and small groups of up to 8 people are welcome too. You plan everything directly with Victor van Loon, the painter behind Atelier Vivalo.

What do you do during the workshop?
During the workshop in Den Bosch you paint your own portrait on canvas, completely in the dark. A beamer projection guides you, so you never face an empty canvas.
The beamer shows, step by step, which area to fill in and in which shade. At least 3 days beforehand you send in a photo, which Victor turns into light projections. That way you build up your portrait layer by layer, from light to dark.
The darkness is the tool, not the point. So it is not about technique or talent, but about daring to start. That is the idea behind Atelier Vivalo: anyone can paint.
